What is SportsActionBoard?
SportsActionBoard is a game played while watching a LIVE football telecast. SAB lets 2+ players predict and challenge each other on what they think will happen NEXT during the game they are watching. Players use poker chips (come with game) to mark their predictions and get paid out based on the odds on the board…if they have a winning prediction.
How to Play:
- Think of SportsActionBoard like sitting down at a roulette table but instead of predicting numbers, you are predicting certain plays in a football game.
- Roll out the SportsActionBoard on a flat playable surface. The board measures out at 24X42, so there is plenty of room for multiple players.
- Turn on a football game.
- Players select a colored playing marker.
- Players use their markers to predict and challenge other players.
- Players get paid out based on the odds given on the board.
- Players call out their prediction and wait for that prediction to be challenged.
- Once there is a challenge, it is considered LIVE ACTION and can only be settled once it occurs during the game.
- Players can mark several predictions on the board at the same time but players control their own pace as not every play needs ACTION.
- Example: If PlayerA calls out an INT on the NEXT play and it’s challenged by PlayerB, that is considered LIVE ACTION. If there is an INT on the NEXT play, PlayerA gets paid out 15-1 for his winning prediction(based on the board odds).
Board Options:
ALL OPTIONS HAVE DIFFERENT ODDS BASED ON LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
- PLAYER TO SCORE NEXT: Predict the player to score NEXT in the game.
- NEXT DEFENSE TO: Predict which defense will have an INT or fumble recovered, force a 3 and out or force a turnover on downs.
- NEXT PASS: Predict if the NEXT pass will be 10yards or more.
- NEXT CATCH: Predict if the NEXT catch will be 20yards or more.
- NEXT RUN: Predict if the NEXT run will be 10yards or more.
- NEXT PLAY: Predict if the NEXT play will be a sack, turnover or DTD.
- KICK-OFF: Predict where the run-back will end up on every kick-off
- NEXT POSSESSION: Predict the outcome of each offensive possession.
- FIELD GOAL CALL IT: Predict what will happen during a FG attempt.
- 1st DOWN CALL IT: Predict if a team will get a 1st down on the NEXT play.
- TOUCHDOWN CALL IT: Predict if a team will get a TD on the NEXT play.

The idea behind SportsActionBoard is so that people can add to the enjoyment of watching football. More and more people are staying home these days to watch football..better tvs, cheaper food, cheaper beer and no line for the bathrooms. So when my friends and I came up with the idea, we based it off the fact that football popularity is at an all-time high and that people love getting together for games.
